The functions of the remote control and Wi-Fi control

1. DO NOT use the AUTO function. Instead, just use the "HEAT" or "COLD" option. If it is set to AUTO and, for example, 22 degrees and you choose to heat with something else in addition (fireplace?), the heat pump will start cooling when it senses that it has reached 22 degrees.
2. Night-time temperature reduction: Before we had hourly readings and you paid the same price for electricity regardless of the time of day, it could be worthwhile to lower the temperature at night. If now electricity is a lot cheaper at night, and you have lowered the temperature at night, the pump will work hard in the morning and use a lot of expensive electricity. The energy ratio at the grid company is lower at night, but it is still questionable whether there is anything to save by lowering the temperature. Sometimes electricity prices can be quite the same all day and it can be worthwhile to lower the temperature, but this requires that you follow the spot price for the next day.
3. If you are going to be away for a few days, you can use the app to lower the temperature and increase it before you get home (for models that have this)
4. Remember that the set temperature does not mean that it will be that temperature in the entire house. The meter is located in the pump itself and measures the temperature there. So you simply have to increase the desired temperature until you are satisfied and maybe increase the fan speed if the house is large/long.
